Dear Colleagues,
I have the honour and pleasure to invite you to participate in the 24th European Symposium on Urogenital Radiology (ESUR) that will be held between 14–17 September, 2017 in Sopot.
This important event is organized annually under the patronage of the European Society of Radiology. In 2017, it will be held for the first time in Poland.
I encourage you to take part in the Symposium which will be a great opportunity to meet scientists and clinicians from many European countries. Scientific sessions, training workshops and poster presentations will provide a forum to review existing standards and to present the latest trends and developments in the field of uroradiological diagnostics.
I am addressing my invitation to attend our meeting to colleagues radiologists and also to colleagues from other specialty areas — urologists, gynaecologists and radiation therapists with the expectation that their active participation will enable the exchange of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the genitourinary tract.
I am convinced that Sopot (one of Tricity towns) is a worthy place for our meeting. It lies between the larger cities of Gdańsk to the southeast and Gdynia to the northwest. The city of Gdańsk on the Motława River, with more than 1,000-year history, beautiful monuments and stunning sea climate, known as the cradle of the Solidarity movement, will surely provide the participants of the symposium many attractions.
I look forward to seeing you in Sopot.
Prof. Michał Studniarek, MD, PhD
Chairman of the Scientific and Organizing Committees of ESUR 2017
